I’ve wanted to be a geriatrician ever since I was in high school. Growing up surrounded by elder grandparents, aunts and uncles, I have always loved spending time with older people. My twenty+ year medical career has given me the chance to care for elders every day. I’ve started to wonder as I raise my teens, who will do the same for me? How can I pass knowledge about health and aging on so the next generation will have the tools they need to take good care of elders? That is the inspiration for EldercareMD.
